LinkedIn Makeover Book Review
4:25 PM in From My Business by Donna Serdula
The reviews are in and everyone loves LinkedIn Makeover: Professional Secrets to a POWERFUL LinkedIn Makeover!
Social Media expert, Seth Goldstein recently posted a glowing video review of LinkedIn Makeover
And the Amazon 5 star reviews keep pouring in:
I had no idea there was so much to Linked In that I just didn’t know about! I never really considered how I might be perceived by oithers based on my own profile. Donna takes you from a beginner to the next level. This book is jam packed with helpful and useful information. It’s hard to beleive so much fits between the covers! It’s an easy read for anyone who is technology savvy or has never even created their own LinkedIn profile.
I have read a ton of books on business networking and social media, but this is one of the best. If you are considering this or another title, I have to tell you that you will be very pleased with Donna’s style of writing and the information you get from this book. Some of the tips are priceless!
I’ve just completed the book and I have to say that I’m looking forward to her next one. I’ve decided to use Donna and her ideas to help me get better “Linked In”!
Thank you to everyone for the positive reviews! I appreciate it!

Hi Everyone! Here’s another post from your friendly, LinkedIn Profile Writer!
I just posted a new blog entry on my Website, LinkedIn Makeover that details how to customize your LinkedIn Profile address.

Try putting that on your business card!
Luckily, you can customize this LinkedIn profile address to something more memorable and easy to type!

Review of LeTip Meeting 5-11-11
4:04 PM in News by Donna Serdula
What a great meeting we had today! Thanks go to Neil Harner for his great training on how to best use WordPress! The ability for everyone in our group to blog is an AMAZING opportunity!
Google bases search rankings on the number of backlinks to your Website. (Backlinks are links to your Website from other Websites). One of the reasons they do this is because it isn’t easy to control who links to your site. Google’s point is, if a person links to your site, it is a vote of confidence to the quality of your site and so it should rank higher! By posting here on the LeTip blog, you are able to create backlinks to YOUR site which means the potential to rank higher in Google search! And doesn’t everyone want to rank higher on Google? Don’t waste this fantastic opportunity!
With that said, let me offer you some links with great anchor text to a LinkedIn Profile Writer who wrote a book about LinkedIn and practices Social Media Marketing in Bucks County, Philadelphia and Montgomery County! Anchor text is the clickable text in a hyperlink (you know, those underlined words that transport you to a different Website). The words contained in the anchor text often determine the ranking that the page will receive by search engines such as Google. Good anchor text contains keywords that people might use for search to find you or your company.
Enough on this lesson in Search Engine Optimization! Let’s get back to revisiting our fantastic LeTip Meeting this morning!
